On/off and auto-shut off functions: To turn the unit ON, press the ON/OFF/MODE button once. The Starship offers four different auto-shut off modes to choose from 1,2,3 and 4 hours. The default auto shut-off time is one hour. To change the shut-off time, first turn the unit on and select the light show you desire. Then press the 2,3 or 4-hour button. NOTE: If you select a different light show after setting the shut-off time, you will need to re-select the shut-off time.

To turn the unit OFF, hold down the ON/OFF/MODE button until the lights go out (approximately 3 seconds)

Selecting the light show: When you turn the starship on, you will see the default light show. To choose another show, press the ON/OFF/MODE button again. Each time you press the button, the next show is selected. Pressing the button the first time is ON and show #1, the second time is show #2, the third time is show #3, etc.

Battery installation: Remove the lid by un-latching the tabs on the lid. Remove protective battery casing by rotating it counter-clockwise. Insert batteries. Replace casing and rotate clockwise to lock. Replace and refasten tabs making sure the lid is on securely.
